Not too many years ago we saw the Segway making its entrance on the streets and now mankind moves one step closer to absolute perfection (and worldwide obesity). Peter Treadway is an inventor and he has invented spnKiX which are motorized shoes with wheels. They go up to 10 mph and they have a reach of more than 3 miles per charge. A full charge will take 2-3 hours and the shoes can be steered via a remote control. It took him 5 years and 30 prototypes to develop the shoes and it is his hope that they can be sold from March 2012. However, he is a little short on cash and therefor seeking investors in order to get the production going. If you’re lazy, like ugly footwear and generally don’t mind looking like a complete idiot you can buy the shoes at a special introductory price directly on his website for as little as $375. Expect to pay double that amount when the horror-shoes hit the stores…
